Joanne Bell, Founder
Joanne Bell is the Founder of Woman To Woman With Joanne The Organization, The Magazine and The Talk Show. She is also a Medicare Advantage Specialist with Humana. Joanne’s love of singing landed her a performance on the world-renowned stage of the Apollo Theater in 1998. In 2012, she auditioned for Sunday’s Best, where she made it to the second round of auditions.
Today, Joanne is a member of the Worship Ministry at Pinelake Church Madison's Campus. She has landed numerous acting roles in Soul Damage The Movie (coming soon), an extra in The Help, Girl Trip and the TV show Nashville, and continues to sing at weddings, events, and special occasions.
In addition, Joanne is an Inspirational Speaker, Author of her first book, “Fear Was My Friend" and she loves sharing stories of Mississippi women by providing a platform through her monthly magazine. In 2017, she was awarded the EPWA Business Women’s Leadership Award, in 2018 she was honored as a SHERO by Butterflies By Grace Defined By Faith, and in 2018 her organization Woman To Woman With Joanne was the TAPS (Thick And Proud Sisters) Showcase Donation Recipient.
She is a member of The Junior League of Jackson, Women For Progress of Mississippi, and Mississippi Women In Network. She hosts The Mississippi Legends Balls annually, honoring women who fought during the Civil Rights Movement and women who make and impact in their communities and Woman To Woman With Joanne’s Annual Empowerment Conference.
